I dont know for the Army but most of the pilots of the Royal Saudi Air Force are either Americans (F-15) or British (Tornado). And all the maintenance is also done by Americans or Brits...

In fact, most of the people serving in the Saudi Armed Forces are foreigners. The only Saudis serving in the military are base commanders, generals, etc from the Royal family with no military experience...

RSAF pilots arent Americans and Brits, they are just trained by the US and RAF.

I think there will be more violence from fanatical al-qaeda types, but i dont think we will see extreme escalation of the situation.

Not all pilots are American or Brits but they are some. Mainly ex-USAF and ex-RAF pilots attracted by the high salaries in the RSAF.

Lots of Pakistani pilots too.
