As I said before, we are working on a book dedicated to Spetsnaz of MVD, my best friend spends time with his unit a lot. I want to show you our personal photos of this unit.
We are working closely with them for our book which should be done soon. This is the type of content we will also have on our web page. Our own photos, rare weapons, spetsnaz, and alot more.

What pistol is this?
Are you allowed into the Spetsnaz of MVD if you wear glasses? I don't think i've ever seen a picture of a Russian soldier wearing glasses apart from one from Afghanistan.

The sleeve patch clearly says "Otryad Spetsyalnogo Naznachenia". And the other patch has a star with a machine gun in front of it - dhe distinguished sign of MVD VV Spetsnaz.
I am not sure whether it is OMSN.

Today there is a big mess there about who is who.
The flag on the right arm is Udmurtia. As I know Udmurtia doesnt have any "Speznaz Vnutrennih Voisk". Maybe I'm wrong though. If you know any teams, let me know.
The interesting thing is their left patch says MVD, not Vnutrennie Voiska, where Vityaz, Rus, Rosich, Skif etc puts "Vnutrennie Voiska" And as I always thought MVD is OMON, and SOBR(OMSN)
But today, a lot of guys like to use Star-AK-FIST emblem.
**** I've met with a team from Min-UST, who had a tatoo of the good ol Vityaz emblem.

RomanS

Yes, Izhevsk.
I think most of the memmbers were formed out of KRECHET there.

the big green motorcycle style helmets they wear are for training only?thanks in advance
Hey Perm, I heard that VSK 94's have armor piercing capabilities is it true?
Yes. Most 9 x 39mm calibre weapons can fire SP-5 (sniper) and SP-6 (armour penetrating) rounds. The latter can penetrate a BZh-81 vest at 400m or a 4mm sheet of steel and still have the energy left to kill. (In other words it can reliably easily penetrate 4mm at 400m).
