U.S. military jury announces verdict in 2nd Guantanamo trial

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba - A U.S. military jury in Guantanamo has convicted a man accused of war crimes for making propaganda videos for al-Qaida.
The jury announced the verdict against Ali Hamza al-Bahlul on Monday in the second such war crimes trial at the U.S. base in Cuba. The jury voted to convict al-Bahlul on all three charges he faced - conspiracy, solicitation to commit murder and providing material support to terrorism.
Each count carries a possible sentence of life in prison.
Sentencing was set to immediately follow the announcement of the verdict.
