Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has described US President-elect Barack Obama as "young, handsome and tanned".
He later said that those who criticized his remark were "imbeciles" without a sense of humour.

Berlusconi is a typical Italian stereotype, cocky and with a big mouth. I dont like him much, but I found his comment pretty funny.

I think was the equivallent of rookie pranks for heads of state..

Yeah remember when Bill made his now infamous comment when he said that firing cruise missiles from a distance was cowardly. This was like Sept 12th or 13th 2001.He was saying how getting into a plane knowing it was a suicide mission is not cowardly but really brave.
Disney fired him or did not renew his contract after that.

What he said was taken out of context and people were pissed at him.
