Ah :D , the Sturmgewehr 90 with Hensoldt optics woot ! Did you guy's know that this rifle is the most accurate battlerifle in the world :D ! The rifle that stands on the second place (the AR15), can only reach SIG "out of the box" accuarcy with a few K of dollars tuning.
Realy unbelievble how accurate this rifles is, and the system is based on the AK47 system. It's sold as "PE90" here in Holland, and it's dominated the number one positions at matches for years now. Unfortunatly, this rifle is way to expensive for me :( !

if it wasnt for those damn laws id have to buy me a 551.

nice rifles, you could call it the best and not many would dissagree, but you need your own money tree to afford them.

Yeah, Dutchman2. They are the best in the world.

Now it's time to update those Swiss guard looking 'Spanish' Style steel pot helmets to some Kevelar ..

;)

@Dutchman2: yeah, the SIG-arms are f**cking expensive. Even here in Switzerland they cost almost two times as much as a AR15.

@He219: we are getting Kevlar helmets in one or two years. The old Helm 68 sucks, I hate that damn steel piss pot.

Just imagine wearing one of these ...

Say, who are the makers of 'export' SIG551's; Manhurin? I know that FAMAE in Chile makes some models ...

AWESOME pics!!

if only i hadn't dropped out of high school a while ago i would be serving in july instead of catching up on my studies :(

the only thing that sucks is that the swiss army gets issued 20 rd mags for their 550

@He219 as far as i know Manurhin only makes the Sig 540 series the 550s predecessor; i think that the Festungswachtkorps (more less the military police, who protects diplomats and embassies) already has the kevlar helmets

Regards :D

I realy love the trigger of the PE90. If you measure the pull, it's about 3 kilograms (match legal), but because of a clever devices, it feels like 0,5 grams :D ! And that with parts made of sheetmetal woot ! Only minnor is that there isn't a windage adjustment on the rearsight with clicks like the AR15 or M14/ Garand. But it's the best avaible, and like said before: you can buy 2 M16's for that money :(

Great Video (http://www.grenof.ch/), SwissGrenadier!

:D

Amazing :D ! The realy know what they are doeing, and it looked pretty good trained!
Reminds me at that story about a German General, visiting the Swiss 'Peoples Army' right before the 2nd WW. He ask an old reserve soldier about what Switserland will do, when there are twise as much German soldiers than the total amount of Swiss soldiers attacking the Swiss border. The Swiss reserve soldier answered: "Than we all shoot 2 rounds..." :D
