The standard weapons of the Airborne troopers and 10th Mount

I was trying to figure out if these groups of soilders use the standard m4 carbines or if they use the sopomod m4 caarbine with m4a1? i also am trying to figure out in the sopmod kit the m203 grenade launcher is 9 inches long how come i've seen every one using the standard 12 inch m203?

I don't believe non-SOCOM units use SOPMOD M4's. I'm pretty sure they are issued M4's with rail systems, PEQ-2's, and Aimpoints (or ACOGs). The reason I don't think they use SOPMODs is because they use standard length M203's rather than the shortened ones you see SF using.
