question for israeli posters

i was looking through some pics of the IDF and i saw some black soldiers...i'm guessing that these r some of the falashas or their descendants.....anyway i was wondering how they have done in the IDF....performance wise, have they intergrated smoothly ( not only in the IDF but israeli society as a whole), r there any in the various israeli SF, and r there any in the navy or air force.

The term falasha is not used, they are called Ethiopians, the ones that I came across were good enough blokes in the military, dont know about civvie street.

There's a problem with them becuase they came from Ethiopia and they had diffrent life style. They are not used to learn in schools so many of them drop from school and a very small precent of them succeed. They were used to listen to the Laws of the elders but in Israel the elders people laws mean nothing and that cause a lot of problems in the family. The heads of the families have problems finding jobs (because they never went to school) and it deeply hurts their "respect" in the family as the main "breadwinner". They also have issues with their wives because they work in Israel and they no longer can take care of the house jobs and the men have to help in the house jobs or else the house will be a complete mass. They are not used to many things, but that's just the old generation, the new one will be much better.

thanks for the answers....i stand corrected ethiopians not falashas...lol...another question r there any other different 'ethnic' (wrong usage of the word i know) groups in israel?
