I did 10 months conscript-time in the German Bundeswehr as gunner on a Leopard 1A5 MBT.
(Hence my nickname - RS is short for Richtschütze, gunner.)

Heehee ok that's a fair exchange. My Dad was in the Navy. He served on Johnson's Presidential yacht. I have a framed watercolor of the White House Christmas tree that has the official Presidential seal on it and Lady Bird's signature that he got for Christmas from them.

Your Dad is either bullshi*ing you or you misunderstood him. There is no such thing as "Army Intelligence Agency;" however, there was an "Army Security Agency," that was part of NSA until 1975 when it merged with Military Intelligence to become the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Did your Dad have a TS-C security clearance? What was his job?

I was in ASA from 1965 to 1971 as a German and Vietnamese translator.

Happy Father's Day!
