Joe Wurzelbacher lashed out Tuesday at former GOP presidential nominee John McCain, the man who made Wurzelbacher famous as “Joe the Plumber.”
Wurzelbacher told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt “dirty” after “being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place.”
Recalling a conversation he had with McCain about the $700 billion financial industry bailout in September, Wurzelbacher said: “When I was on the bus with him, I asked him a lot of questions about the bailout because most Americans did not want that to happen.”
“I asked him some pretty direct questions,” he continued. “Some of the answers you guys are gonna receive — they appalled me, absolutely. I was angry. In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.”
Asked why he didn’t leave McCain’s campaign if he was “appalled” by the candidate, Wurzelbacher said, “honestly, because the thought of Barack Obama as president scares me even more.”
While Wurzelbacher was critical of McCain during the interview, he had nothing but praise for his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. “Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said.

What a stupid sucker. No wonder his business had problems. If he wasn't smart enough to realize someone running for president would be phony and give obtuse answers, then he needs to wisen up.

Uh... we're talking about Joe - some people might think I'm elitist for saying so, but what did anyone expect from the guy?
During the campaign - when he had the opportunity to articulate why he did not like Obama's policies - he basically just said I just don't trust him. Why? Couldn't articulate it. He goes with his gut. Ask him why Sarah Palin rocks? he'll prob give you a bunch of reasons that have nothing to do with being President of the United States.
He was worried about proposal of having to pay an extra 3% of income taxes for taxable income above $250,000. Worried as a potential business owner - when asked if he had any concrete plans to buy his boss' business? No - just that the guy mentioned it was a possibility when he started the job years ago.
If anyone relied on his opinion of either candidate - they probably have even worse judgment than Joe. I may rely on the guy for plumbing advice - but he is not a politico.
The media should just leave the poor fella alone.

Can't articulate thoughts? Responds to scare tactics? Kind of a reactionary?
Hmm. So basically he's an average voter?:)
Agreed, though. Let him drift into obscurity and get on with his life. His 15 minutes are over.
