I am traveling to the following places this summer, Do you have any good advice on what I should see? I dont want to go to boring museums and crap like that, I want to have a fun time.

Countries I'm going to

- England (around london)
- France (Around Paris/Angers)
- Switzerland (Anywhere)
- Belgium (Anywhere)

Any suggestions would be great!

London: Imperial War Museum...any of the dance clubs that are in the Hammersmith area (I think that's where they are)

Well if you don't mind the rude people who don't know how to drive, you should find countless night clubs, cabarets or typical cafés, the streets are also very animated during summer.
But you should still visit some museums ;)

I will want to see them, but I would rather have as much fun as I can (I'll only be over there for two weeks) And I would rather have fun in the "party" fashion then the "and over here we have a painting by rembrant" I have already had way to much time spent in museums this year, Im sure my girlfriend will make me see one, and that war one sounds good to me.

I'd be goin down London in August again.
The Imperial War Museum is very good. So is the London Eye if you fancy seeing London from up high.

And if you want to party; i would go to spain or ibiza :P . In france i guess the cote d'azure, nice, canne,... Lots of parties and drunk girls to take advantage of.

Hahaha! I actully did want to see where the battle of the bulge was, My grandpa faught in it, and was wounded. And my buddies are all trying to get me to try and talk my girlfriend into a 3some with a euro girl. I think with some pleading, and alot of drinking, i could make that happen.

I've the Czech Republic's not bad, my sister went there and said that pint only costs £1 or so.
in shop beer 0,5l in a can around 2,5 zł so for 1£ you would have around 3beers :) and in bar (pub) 0,5 costs around 4,5zł and 1l around 8zł so you would have litle less tan 1litter beer for 1£....

Just a tip if you want to have some none-tourist fun: Get to know some locals. Just pick out one in your prefered age-group that look a little bit crazy.
Tell him/her what you want. Then if your lucky just bite your teeth together and enjoy the ride.

Before you go, buy a case of Molson Canadian beer, make sure you get the one with the Molson "I am Canadian" shirts in it. Then go to Europe, and wear that shirt all the time.
My grandpa went to Europe a fews years ago and he told people at bars that he was Canadian and they gave him tons of free stuff...
So if you want free stuff say your Canadian... ;)

Oh cool. Well, you could visit the Heckler & Koch plant in Oberndorf, Neckar (near Stuttgart). Or you could take a trip to Hammelburg (30 minutes away from me), there'll you'll find the infantry school of the german army. They got a big small arms exhibition there.

But if you just want to party, all the big cities will do for you. Try "Reeperbahn" in Hamburg, big-ass red-light-district with many clubs.

While in Paris go to the Catacombs its an underground cemetary, its kick ass. As far as Belgium the only thing they going for them is Nato HQ, waffels, and good beer.

What he really means is that do the above if you plan to visit the "city" of Turku. Other than that, there's absolutely nothing to worry about! (That excludes the occasional Swedish tourists, watch out for them...) :roll:

Yep. In the summer night usually lasts about 2-4 hours, and in the midsummer, it doesn't go down at all. And that's in the southern Finland. In northernmost Finland the sun doesn't go down for something like 2 months! Trust me, it kind of messes up your internal clock... And the negative side is that in winter the sun doesn't come up for those 2 months, so it's pretty ****ing dark in there.
