Hi guys,i will love to hear from all of you ~~
i'm currently doing a project on defense.

One of my ideas will be stiching on solder's blood type, reglion and ID no on their combat boots.

Will my idea be feasible ????

Thanks in advance !!!

There's dog tags and the squad leader and Platoon commander should have those info. Or just get meat tag tattoos.

It's bad luck, though all D3lta do it anyways.

Sure it's feasible, but doesnt mean ****.

No Medical Facility is going to just go by a Helmet Band, Bloodtape, Boot Marking and start Blood.

There going to type and crossmatch first.

Who's to say your not wearing some buddys shirt, boots etc.

See the Problem?

Sounds like you're reinventing the wheel. Why don't you incorporate microchip technology instead of plain dog tags.

Hmmm
cuz i was thinking,
ppl have different blood type, drug allergies and ID no.
so stitching info on them, will minimize the chances of taking others'

a better idea would be to put it on the under-side of body armor. if by chance there's a critical injury, where the chest needs to be exposed anyway, the pertinent info is there. no chance of burns, scratches, etcc to make info illegible.

Are you trying to replace dog tags? How about the legs get blown off?

Dont get me wrong, I see Joes marking everything they own with

"OPOS-NKDA" type markings(used to do it Myself). But no Medic worth his Cadeuces is jst going to go with what he sees and start blood. Give someone the wrong bloodtype and their Dead. Many times the body Armor is removed before the WIA gets to the CSH.

Had a Bro get Evaced for a Heart Attack after a Blue on Blue. His IBA was given to a replacement later. If the Info was on the Vest, and the kid got hit, you can see the problems that can ensue.

Joe can and will "Liberate" someones elses Clothes and Gear given the Opportunity. I distinctly remember at Fort Hood falling out for Rifle PT, and Noticing the Guy in front of Me had MY T-Shirt on with MY name and Last4 right on the back of the neck.

Every Charlie Med facility personnel I have worked with have stated that they will always test your blood-type, regardless of what you have written on your uniform.

A pair of issue boots last me six months of hard usage.

I like your focus on uniform items being functional (every item on a combat uniform should be functional imho), but I don't think this is necessary.

Currently soldiers have dog tags with the info.

They currently have it drawn in pen on various pieces of their web kit, flack vests, helmets etc..etc..

Boots do not stand up to landmines very well:roll:

Its also cost prohibitive to issue a soldier boots with personal particulars sewn in. How will the info be protected from daily wear and tear, dirt, cleaning etc..etc..

So your idea in my opinion = FAIL!
