This is a prototype PWS piston CQB-R with a 7" barrel.

The new piston rides on a one piece piston rod bolt to the carrier. all parts are ion bonded.

the actual pre-production version should be released by Shot.

Woa, holy sh**, what's the muzzle? Does it just serve as a flash suppressor?
That's one thick barrel too. Does it have a gas regulator on it when running suppressors as well? Based on the pictures, could it even take a suppressor? Or does it need an adapter for it?
This looks a lot more rugged (the single piston) and simplified, and thanks for the pics Chen.

You just answered your own question: "multi caliber"

@SMGLee: are you going to SHOT '09 in FL? If so, please post pics like the last times. Thanks for all the hard work then. Everybody loved the pics.

It is just the marking on a Vender's lower receiver. the lower is capable of multi caliber... such as 5.56, 6.8, 6.5 or 9mm

Two questions:

How much?

and

Where can I get one?

I currently have an LWRC piston system, going for it because I thought it was the most robust and low maintenance design out of those on the market....till I saw this...any other pics of the guts and when will be be in market?

I am not too sure about the technical details, but more info should be released at Shot show.
