Nah, I was only in Katowice, Chorzów and Gliwice, but all this cities are in Górny Śląsk, so Im guessing Sosnowiec isnt very much different than other Silesian cities ;) Im guess they could have some nice pubs ;) . But maybe some other Poles here, know more about Sosnowiec than me :)

There is university with lots of hot chicks there.
The whole Śląsk region is not very beautiful-it is former coal mines industry area so don't expect nice sightseeing :)

Yep lots of ppl lots of dead factories and coal mines and lots of pubs and girls and quite cheap alcochol ....
Whole region of Katowice caled GOP is almoust one big city combined out of few dozens smaler citys sometimes you don't know if you are already in Tychy or still in Katowice.........
