If anybody is interested in learning about the Federal Reserve sytem and how it operates the Mises Institute made a very informative video. It's 42 minutes long.
Just an extra note, at around the 34 minute mark they state that no budget has been balanced since the fed was created. This video was made before Clinton balanced the budget at the end of his term.
