During the World Cup and Euro Cup, you always see players talking to eachother and talking to the refrees. My question is; what language are they using? Do they all speak english?? Because sometimes in a World Cup, Russia plays South Africa and the referee is from Germany, yet all 3 sides communicate to eachother with no trouble. How?

It is not what you say, but how you say it. ;)

But I guess in most cases it is English that is used. We are educated over here you know. :D

ref usually english i reckon, but most of the time you see them signalling,
if the player get's the ball he'll make a ball shape with his hands and so on. If you know the rules of the game you'll what they'll say anyway.

the players don't really talk to each other they usually exchange insults.
e.g.:

-**** you
-encule de ta mere

and so on

if a player is walking away from a referee and saying something it's usually insults in their native tongue.

When england play, you can often lip-read players calling the ref a "f*cking wanker"
