A car for my daughter. (obviously she won't be getting anything too exciting.) I was going to give her my car, but my in-laws don't think it's good enough for the princess. (Clearly it's good enough for me).
They want to buy her something else, but I'm not sure I'm going to let them. It will cost me much more in the long run if they buy it than if I just come up with the money myself... if you know what I mean.

A Chrysler I believe. Those cars have great engines. My last car with the same engine had 217 thousand miles on it, and it was still going when I hit a deer. The car I'm driving now is a Dynasty (same engine again), and it has 198 thousand miles on it. My mom and my sister both have cars with the same engine as well, and they both have over 200 thousand miles on them. 138 thousand should be great! :D

I've heard that they give them to you for free in the army but I think there is some sort of catch...

actually i cracked up reading that comment woot
$1500 is £820 which for me would go on a holiday. That would easily buy a return flight to Prague and would leave enough for train tickets and board around Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia.

Man, that is tough...I have to spend this right? Not save it? Because that is probably what I'd end up doing.
But if I had to spend it...maybe this then:

Or

AND with the change from either a self illuminating sight for my Nova...

Either purchase allows me to go out later in the evening and get tanked... along with four of my friends.
So I think that wouold be a very "Durandal" way of blowing that amount of cash. :)
