Frankly, I just use G.I. Issue, there cheap and I think reliable from My experiences

I've had good luck with Wilson Combat.
Never tried the Chip McCormicks, but I'd bet they're good too.

I have about ten 8rds CM power mags and two ten rounders.....and the about six new Wilson 8 rds plus two Wilson ten rounders.
One of my CM 10rds Power mags broke, but that is the only fial I have with any of the CM mags. the feed lips widen a bit so the follower is trying to pop through... still a good range mag...

I love Chip McCormick mags also. They are slightly more expensive than surplus mags but way less than Wilson Combat.

+1 for Wilson Combat mags. very slick mags to load with and very reliable. haven't tried the 10 rounders though.

I only use 7-round Springfield Armory factory mags, not a single stoppage to date. I'm thinking about slapping on those Wilson Combat glue-on base pads.
The only 8-round mags I've tried were Tripp Research and they fed flawlessly.

8 round Wilsons are fantastic.

the new Wilson Combat mags are pretty hard to beat imho. the ECM or somesuch. the old one are pretty good too.
I've heard too many recommendations for the McCormicks to not agree, but my Springfield TRP doesn't like them.

My custom Springfield Lt-Weight Operator doesn't like the Wilson Combats either. I'm thinking its a conspiracy ; - )
Edit to above: Typo on my part. Meant to communicate that my LW Oper doesnt like the CM mags. The Wilson's work well.

Wilson are excellent. I have two Chip McCormick 10 round magazines and one won't hold the slide open after the last shot. No big deal I suppose but I think they suck none the less. Stick with Wilson, they are worth the money.
One of the main reasons magazine fed weapons fail is the MAGAZINES so spend a buck and get good ones.

edit: they are called the ETM.
I've also got an older Wilson Executive 10-rder. never had a problem with it.
used my Springfield TRP mags for a long time, but the springs seem to have compressed on them. they don't work right anymore.
