O.k. boys & girls, for you folks that are not RELOADERS but shoot allot (in excess of 1000 Rds a month) How do you buy your ammo? If you buy on-line drop your links here. I'm always looking for good reliable sources.

I get all my ammo from http://www.ammoman.com. I go through about 2500 rounds a month. But look around depending on where you live this site might not be the cheapest for you.

Holy crap! MQ, what do you do that you can shoot that much? Assuming evencheap surplus or imported stuff, that's well over $1000/mo on ammo. Too rich for my blood...but I'm jealous!

http://www.aimsurplus.com/ (good business)
http://www.jgsales.com/ (bought from in the past, but not recently - better prices elsewhere)
http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/ (bulk of my business over the past 2 years)
http://www.wideners.com/index.cfm (starting to like them)

MidwayUSA for most stuff, although their stock has taken a beating recently. CMP online sales for what they've got. Wal-Mart Winchester White Box for whatever they've got.

currently have to buy my rifle range ammo at the range itself, due to their rules.

i stuff my pockets and pouches and bags full of ammo when i goto the army-sanctioned m4 ranges and then i take that ammo home, and goto a range with my ar15 and have fun doing whatever i want, whenever i want, wearing whatever i want, shooting however i want. being a sqd ldr, i'm not expected to fire that much anyway, and nobody notices if i don't at all, but i still get the same amount of ammo and i have access to plenty more. screw em, the gov't owes me.

If you are actually serious, I would keep that to yourself.

While I spend most of my limited time around here warning kids and making jokes, let me be clear - I'm not this time.

Despite what you may choose to believe, you wouldn't be the first case of "extra attention" as a result of an internet post here or on other websites.

But, hey, that's barely worth .02 cents.

I have been shooting M193 Lake City stuff...not the XM, nor the XMXXXPD stuff...its the real deal M193 in styripper clips...

Give me a shout, I can hook you up on 5.56 ammo and maybe some 308s too.

Yeah David, If your doing what you just proclaimed you are in violation of Army protocol & braking the law. You need to ask your self if the "free" ammo is worth your Job & tarnishing your record. I'm assuming your serving in the United States military. This is NOT the kind of information I was looking for when I made this post, but thank you anyway.

SGMLee, the offer sure is a nice one brother! What I'm looking for mostly is bulk 7.62x39. Military surplus, Wolf, Golden Bear, heck even some steel-core CHICOM stuff would be nice. (steel-cores on my wish list) Really doesn't matter as long as it fires & in good condition.

LMAO! @ Canadian Sig,
Yeah but SIG, her memories long & good. She wont give me any because of what some of my "old school" brothers did in 1776. (BE SAFE BRO) I sure enjoy your pic's from A-stan man keep them coming! Can I ask a favor?!?!? Would it be possible to get a picture of a Tandoori Oven.(you know the one where they bake the bread) I'm a bit of a historian of antiquity. I like to try & replicate old world knowledge. A picture like that would be worth its weight in gold to me.

Guys,
Thank you all for your input, KEEP'EM COMING!

Andreas, I'm 39 January 10th.
The picture you have posted is not me. That was a picture posted by SNIPER SKULL as a crack on me, when I was ribbing his friend Aerosoul for looking androgynous in the photo of yourself section.

Andreas I don't believe I've ever seen a picture of your self posted, feel free if you like mate.

There are members here who have meet me in person & know who I am. But thank you.

heheh, sorry mate, didnt catch it being a joke by sniperskull.
Just keeping an eye out, since you dont have your age in your profile.
Didnt mean to be a douche:)

On Topic: In Norway, we get ammo in some sporting goods stores and some hunting stores. But since we have pretty strict gun laws I think most ammo is purely for hunting dear, elk and birds.

Cheers

The government kinda frowns upon automatic fire when hunting deer.
Some BS about sportsmanship and so on..p-)

I appreciate what ever your able to do brother. What I would give to see the local culture! I know most see them as backwards & Primitive. Folks have subsisted that way there for hundreds of years. In an environment hostile to life in more ways than one.;B) I find it fascinating!! Thank you VERY much Canadian Sig!!!!

LOL @ Dan'O
If I start acting my age, I'll have to buy a cane & start taking pain medication. Dan, didn't get a chance to say Merry Christmas & Happy New Years Yet. But now is a better time then never. Hope you & family are doing well man. All is good here were just a little grayer & heavier.
