Indoctrinate U is a feature-length documentary film written by, directed by and starring Evan Coyne Maloney, on ideological conformism and political correctness in American higher education. Among other things, the film examines the use of institutional mechanisms such as speech codes, which it claims are used to punish students who express political views that are unpopular within academia. The film covers anti-military protests at UC Santa Cruz and San Francisco State University, treatment of conservative students at Cal Poly and the University of Tennessee, racial and ethnic politics at the University of Michigan and Yale, teaching at Duke and Columbia, among other subjects.

This is definitely the best documentary I've seen the entire year (I mean 2008). Completely unravels the extent of Marxist infestation in academia.

Interesting vid, but not surprising, PC is king at University and if you dont follow the 'correct' view you clearly must be a bigot/racist/nazi/whatever, is no different in Australia.

if thats the best thing you've seen all year, then you need to get out more

just the usual hysterical claims about uni's being over run with commies. nothing new. definetly no hard hitting evidence either.

Which hole did you crawl out of? Wipe that smegma from your eyes and watch the entire video. There was plenty of evidence.

No, I'm not a big fan of tubby boy Moore's propaganda movies, so I'd say this was probably the best documentary I've seen in the year of 2008 in spite of that fact that it was made by an independent film maker and was slightly amateurish.

I don't think its full of 'Uni Commie threat' propoganda, if you don't think that most if not all universities are biased to a certain point of view I suggest you spend a bit more time in them.

I remember a lecturer I had last year who was doing a lecture on early 20th century colonialism in Asia. In the middle of the lecture he started going into a speech about how Bush, Cheney and a lot of other US politicians were 'war crimminals'.

I don't want to hear that crap in a history course, I don't care about his opinion on the matter (which had nothing to do with 20th century colonialism in Asia) . I'm paying good money for a degree and I want to taught what I'm paying for and hear all views, not just the ones 'deemed correct' and I'll make up my own mind thank you very much.

'conservatives' have always had a problem with academia, but that said, political correctness has always had a strong hand at universities (I suffered from it in the early nineties). It's no big deal: when we think about it education often reflect the ideal rather than reality - for most people, the real world after we graduate will straighten out much of teh idealism.

The funniest (or rather most ironic) thing is that it is a generation of 1968 which is ruling at universities. But I'm not surprised, this happens always when leftist got power.

where is the part containing the evidence supporting your claim of 'marxist infestation'

The entire documentary had implicit evidence of marxist take-over of academia and featured some of the best known schools of the country. That's evidence enough for me. Since you're kind of slow and probably do well with visual details, you might have noticed that big ass banner of Che in that state funded college shown in the movie. The fact that Noel Ignatiev, the Marxist and racist is still being employed by MassArt is evidence enough. Lets not get started on Bill Ayers, known Marxist unrepentant terrorist employed by University of Illinois.

And another piece giving evidence to the sad anti-intellectualism that has hijacked the American right. That's why you get people like GWB and Sarah Palin, and that's also why you deserve them.

Actually, its why most Americans under the age of 50 are drooling f-ing morons.....What is it like 60% cannot pass a basic civics test? Most do not know who any of their "elected" representatives are?
