I thought it would be interesting to start a political cartoon thread.

Post political cartoons relevant to the present time, whether it be your local area/country incidents, international scenarios, or events in pop culture.
And if you disagree with a cartoon someone posts, don't flame; instead, post a cartoon with an opposing viewpoint.
EDIT: Still, it's not like anything goes. Keep it tasteful graphically (ex: no frontal nudity) and situationally (ex: you may put something critical of US policy, but putting something comparing the US to Nazis is just low).

I do not know the actual history of the cartoon but I'd guess that it has to be from late 1939 or early 1940 since Finland is already eaten along with Poland etc. but Norway, Denmark and other small countries are still trying to balance it out. So, my guess is that it's made during Winter war when it seemed certain that Finland was a goner.

That's not any worse then some of the cartoons posted here about Arabs and Iranians. Anyways, most of us know thats just a typical Arab political cartoon about Israel or the Jewish illuminati conspiracy. The problem with political cartoons are that they are bound to insult someone.

Yes, but, for better or worse, this forum does have a bias and it is up to the mods' discretion.
From what I see, there is no problem with a cartoon critical of Israeli policy.
However, having cartoons depicting the IDF as sadistic baby-killers, the Jews as ultimate puppet masters, and the Israeli government as the Third Reich II is over the top. And yes, I realize that is a very thin line to cross.
In the same vein, cartoons about terrorists and zealous leaders being portrayed in a negative light is expected here. But when that negative brush begins generalizing all Muslims, I would say that crosses the line as well.
