request: Id this ring?

So my uncle was in WW2 and he flew planes... that's about as much as anyone in the family knows he never spoke about it much, even when we asked.

This was his ring (supposedly) don't know anything about it, can't find much on the net. Can anyone ID it or give me any more info on it , given the limited info i have.

No info on the ring itself, but the symbol and "USAAC" belonged to the U.S Army Air Corps...Here's a neat page to check out...

thanks for the info.. I did find out that he fought at Casablanca and Dakar Africa from other family.
