it is the red x model used by SAS during the Armenian Embassy assault in Kuwait in 1932. Coupled with the .38 special sniper weapon system, it proved formidable in taking out hostile Canadian tangoes in the vicinity of the area with little collateral damage

Looks like some night vision/thermal doohickey.
I'd host them, but I can't right click them to imageshack and anything else like saving them etc is too much effort for a 1 post wonder.

The real answer is:

The first and last pics are the AN/PVS-10 Day/Night Sniper Sight

The middle pic is the AN/PVS-12.2x Day/Night Sniper Sight

I could be wrong though...
