It's about the current detainments of Arabs and some historical compare & contrast.

Interesting.

There was a similar outcry in the UK when internment without trail was introduced in Northern Ireland (strangley although we now have it for a limited number of terrorist suspects on the mainland, there has been little in the way of complaints).

I watched a piece on Ann Coulter on BBC's Newsnight a week or so ago comapring her to the guy who did 'Bowling for Columbine' (name escapes me). The gist of it being that they're both fruitloops, from opposite ends of the spectrum.

I can't argue with the facts in her piece, but after that report I'm inclined to treat her with some scepticism - any views from the other side of the pond. Before anyone jumps down my throat, as with most members of HM Forces I'm conservative (with a small 'c'), and have no problem with the actions mentioned - simply interested/sceptical of the source.

Interesting. I think she shot herself down in the last sentence, though. These people aren't traitors, they're politicians!

That is interesting. Her argument sounds like it could be reasonable, but she presents it in an inflammatory way.

The guy that made Bowling for Columbine is Michael Moore, btw. And yeah, he seems like a "fruitloop."

I don't know if I would say that Ann Coulter has gone that far in the other direction, but taking a look at some of her stuff it seems like she's daring liberals to have a problem with her.
