The Israel Border Police (Hebrew: מִשְׁמַר הַגְּבוּל‎, Mishmar HaGvul) is the military branch (gendarmerie) of the Israeli Police. It is also commonly known by its Hebrew abbreviation Magav (Hebrew: מג"ב), meaning border guard, whilst its members are colloquially known as Magavnikim (Hebrew: מג"בניקים). Border Guard is often used as the official name of the Israel Border Police in English.

@ Hippo: that is definately a replica a**soft suppressor-I think he had it threaded on. The real one is normally used for the H&K USP Tactical and MK 23 pistols.

Well with all the respect, i don't think this guy serves in any kind of SF in the border Police.

LOL, but I don't think so. Not to mention that in Israel people who play airsoft are mostly ex-military(or even active service) guys.

These two were clearly taken in some Magav base, a typical army/Magav base/barrack.

The weapon is not airsoft(unless ) and it has typical IDF/Magav "pimping" (rubber bands on mugs, cords for the belt attachment etc).

In general, the vest, the M4 with all the attachments and the pistol(regular Magav/IDF soldiers do not have pistols) - all look too much for a regular Magav policeman. So yeah, could be one of the Magav special units.

I read the posts kinda quickly, but I never saw him claiming that HE was SF. He just said that you can own a suppressor if you are "only if you in army in SF." ARMY SF. He is clearly not army, but police.

It would be better if he were to just chime in, and respond to all of this. Chances are, unless he's in high school, he probably is a serving member of the IDF/police, and there's nothing wrong with that at all. There's just no need to embellish or exagerate.

Even amongst we who served in the military, very few of us were so-called "elites".

Why can't he be a Magav guy?
Magav generally are not SF.. and he could just have some **** on this rifle from his armory in the base, it doesn't mean he actually use all of it.

In a regular infantry unit - no. In SF unit I guess it works differently (like for every op they have different stuff).

i am in magav unit called "metilan" like SF.! and this is a m4! old one! we have a flatop too. and a pistols like Jericho 941. sorry 4 my english.
