My grandmother has just passed this on to me for my 21st birthday, apparently my great grandfather gave lots of money to Israel in its beginning years and received this as a gift. Would be great if you guys could ID for me.. Would like to know if its rare or not.
On one side it has profile shots of Moshe Dayan and Yitzhak Rabin in uniform, the other side has Jerusalem with a date 7.VI.1967 (7.6.1967 im guessing) "Liberation of Jerusalem". Its about 5cm in diameter
Thanks in Advance

This "table-medal"commemorates the Liberation of Jerusalem in the Six Day War.On the one side is a representation of Moshe Dayan a famous IDF Soldier and Yitzak Rabin who went on to become a famous Israeli Statesman.I have seen them in bronze and zink.
I am sure some of our Israeli members will add more details.
They are not RARE as they were given to people for helping finance Israeli Projects such as Defence etc..etc..
I have seen them sell online for about 50 Dollars. But Monetary value is one thing & historic value another.

Thank you, much appreciated mate
I knew it was from 6 day war.. just wanted to know if there was any interesting details that couldnt be found on the coin.
Regardless of its value, I still cherish it as like you said, its historic :)
