View Full Version : Obama's Pre and Post Inauguration Knowledge
I have a question. Does the president elect have as much security clearance as a president in office?
Obama goes on and on about how he'll do foreign policy and security. But does he have the big picture yet? Or when he steps into the oval office and is handed all the files, he'll have an "Aw sh*t" moment, and not be as cuddly as the college kids want him to be?
I know Senators have some level of security clearance, but probably not nearly enough as the president in some issues. How much does Obama actually know? The media is giving the impression that he's got a plan, will stick with it, and will put it into effect as soon as he starts.
I think the "aw ****" moment came on the day after the election when he realized he was in way over his head.
Why else would he fill his administration by moving the same old people around into new chairs after promising not to? Why else would he be busy lowering expectations so much? Why else would he already be making excuses for not delivering on his promises?

I believe since a few days after the election the president elect has been receiving the same daily briefing from the CIA that the president receives

Sounds right, you dont want another Truman, where he only found out about the Atomic Bomb after he was sworn in.
FDR was a **** to not allow his VP to know details
