Hey guys, i'm looking to get a M-21 Meprolight for my Colt M4. Simple question: Do i get the 5.5 MOA red dot, or the 12 MOA yellow triangle?

Anyone got any reticle pics, or experiences?

thanks!!

I hear how bad they suck , and see many people who get them re-sell them rather fast. I think because they try eotech and then realize there no better targeting system. And that they save 100 extra bucks.

had (note the past tense) an EoTech. very, very good, but for 2 issues.

eats batteries even when turned off

has to be turned on.

ACOG ftw. or tritium iron-sight inserts, which is as far as my paychecks can stretch.

I have not been a fan of battery powered sights. Too many times in the past I have pulled out a site and the batteries were dead. Fortunately it has been for target practice or competitions and not when someone was actually shooting at me. :-*$

Until some designs a battery powered sight that last 10 years (micro fuel cell?) I will stick to my Trijicon sights.

That Bulls eye reticle on the Mepro sight looks interesting too. I am going to have to take a look at that one.

Nice find! I didn't realize the newer Aimpoint's were that efficient. Last time I used an Aimpoint (Comp M, 5 plus years ago), it seem like I was replacing the battery every other time I went shooting. Thanks for the info.
