Quality on pictures.

Why is the picture size smaller than it was before you changed the server to aixgaming.com?

It's great pics but I wanna have a good quality on them.

note to virtualpender, although i have about 100 megs left on that server, feel free to fill it up.. you can raise the bar on the file sizes from the 80k i mentioned to 200 let's say if the picture warrants it... using tons of bandwidth now costs me no additional and there's plenty of it. smile.gif

To the best of my knowledge, I have not reduced the size of any images. Some of the image qualities were reduced slightly but the difference is inperceptible as far as I can tell.

My opinion is that both the size and the quality has decreased. If you have pictures with better quality please put them up on the server.

I would go for bitmap pics...better quality.
I fnot possible for the server, add the weblink so users can download...

well, you have to remember that most of the pictures come from news sources which only have low res versions available. I'll see if i can find some links for the high res ones that can be found on the mil websites. Often they have versions that are over 1 megabyte jpegs.
