I'm afraid to even say the 'D' word anymore, but isn't that what the red patch on his shoulder means? Also, are those 'HALO' wings he has?

This red patch thing has been brought up before.........several times!
One answer will be yes it does mean that ;)
And the other will say that its the badge of ARSOC!!
If he was the 1st,then hes' not botherd too much about OpSEC!!
I think he's also wearing the Army pathfinder wing/torch emblem!
It would be interesting to see if the red "tab"says "Airborne" or "Special Forces".
Still no matter what the guuys been around, hats off to him!!

OK GUYS, Here it is

1. The "red" Sshoulder patch is worn by 160 SOAR, 528th SOSB, USASOC, and i think 112th sig. It is also the CAG patch but looking at the guys "uniform" nothing states he was CAG.

2. The "red" Shoulder tab is an airborne tab. Not SF. The SF tab is blue and gold and only blue and gold. Airborne tabs are different colors depending on what unit you are in.

3. There is no Pathfinder badge on the "uniform" at all. He is wearing MFF basic wings.

Thats all I have.

good call on the MFF badge,I couldn't see it properly because of the white border,at 1st glance it looked like the Pathfinder badge, but now having seen the MFF badge it is a lot clearer now!!
As I said the badges are a bit irreleavnt as to which unit it "may" imply to,this guys has earned all these qualifications for being bloody good at his job!!
USASOC covers many different units I believe?

Me neither shooter,I'm a brit and I don't know much about US insignia!
