Anyone know what happend to the Island efter the Israeli raid..... did they rebuild it? and is it still an egyptian militay base today????

Interesting story about the raid. It appears to be still there, along with 3-4 smaller little islands scattered about. They're about 6 or so km from the mouth of the Suez canal, due south of Suez City. They're tiny though, and through the weatherchannel site, I wasn't able to zoom in on them for much detail. According to wiki, Green Island is the largest and only the size of a football field.
