GROM has 3 battle groops ("green", "sea" and the third, new).
1. pspec has 3 battle groops (A, B and C, fromer battalions)
"Formoza" is the size of one battle groop
+ logistics, support, training etc.

A rough translation
Surgeons at hospital in Trzebnica transplantated two hands in a single operation. Patient is a GROM soldier and according to current information operation was a success. This is the best gift for the 20th anniversary of GROM. This is a very hard man. I am happy as a father, who rescued his son - said tvn24.pl Gen. Slawomir Petelicki, former head of the elite unit.
This is the first such complicated surgery in Poland. For 17 hours five surgeons fought to help him - says Sławomir Petelicki, who is in constant contact with doctors and a soldier.
In an interview with tvn24.pl Slawomir Petelicki was very critical of the Department of Defense. The operation was made possible by the long chain of people of good will, not by MOD.
It is a real human relationship, not the bulls***** PR-men, which we are short f*ckup - bluntly says a former commander of GROM-u.

Afganistan.
GROM with partnership of the Independent Air Group carried out an operation through which managed to break free two local police officers from the hands of the taliban.
As reported by lieutenant Sebastian Kostecki, the action was carried out on Sunday in the Andar district of Ghazni province.

Two days ago GROM carried out an operation in Mogur in Ghazni province through which managed to break free high-ranking military from the hands of the taliban.
Abducted a former Afghan government army colonel and his son with them, the Poles found abducted a few days earlier an Afghan policeman.
This is another successful action to free hostage in June, GROM recaptured two Afghan police officers in Andar district.

as what? coffe makers? as far i know women werent allowed in GROM at all. due to the lower tolerances of a womans Physics. And this picture makes thing wierd.
several special units dont accept women at all by the simpel fact that they cant take the same beating as a male body. if a male and a female train same things, same exersices etc. the male will be more supperior due more muscel mass.
this thing made me think on a thing over here in my country, firefighters over here must train to carry a 100Kg doll. not drag only carry. but if a woman wants to join she only needs to make it of with 60kg.. and that woman will put other lifes at risk if she accepts the lower expectations on her & her Physics. if a woman should join a physically demanding force & job they CAN´T demand an easiers course than they male colleagues.
So the question is how did she end up in GROM & are you sure that women are allowed? i am not so sure

as what? coffe makers?
Your first question was not precise enough, you have asked only If womens are allowed to serve, so the short answer is yes. If you are asking "as what", please think a little bit, do you think womens would have to pass selection course to become coffe makers? And as far as I know some have passed selection. GROM would be the most hardcore unit on the world to allow coffe makers to serve only If they would pass selection, dont you think so?:)
as far i know women werent allowed in GROM at all.
Who told you that? I have read and heard different things.
due to the lower tolerances of a womans Physics. And this picture makes thing wierd.
Weird in what aspect? Lady might be paramedic, or even doctor, she doesn't need to be 190 cm tall and 100 kg weight to help wounded guy.
several special units dont accept women at all by the simpel fact that they cant take the same beating as a male body.
Maybe GROM have different point of view? Maybe.
if a male and a female train same things, same exersices etc. the male will be more supperior due more muscel mass.
If a 162 cm, and 58 kg male and 189 cm, 89 kg male will train same things, same exercises etc. the male who is 189 cm, and 89 kg will be more supperior due to muscle mass......at least he suppose to be. It still doesn't proof that female can not serve in GROM. Muscles are not everythng.
this thing made me think on a thing over here in my country, firefighters over here must train to carry a 100Kg doll. not drag only carry. but if a woman wants to join she only needs to make it of with 60kg.. and that woman will put other lifes at risk if she accepts the lower expectations on her & her Physics. if a woman should join a physically demanding force & job they CAN´T demand an easiers course than they male colleagues.
I have heard that the best commandos are not very tall and aren't too big. I don't know how many of them can carry 100 kg, and I don't kow If they need this skill at all. Maybe it's not that important factor in GROM, so women can serve in this unit, and maybe she has other important skills? More important then carrying 100 kg. Maybe.
So the question is how did she end up in GROM & are you sure that women are allowed? i am not so sure
There are two options, first, she has passed selection course, second, she was allowed to serve because she has some unique skills(language etc.). I don't think shes just a coffe maker who was asked to take part in a photo show for press. But it's just me. Just to make it clear, this photo doesn't mean she is in one of the combat teams, she may be in some kind of support team. But does it matter? Womens who served in GROM(coffe makers, intelligence etc.) have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. My point is, even If they dont serve in combat teams, they can serve in many other roles, also in hostile enviroment, and they may be helpfull for their male collegues from combat teams.
PS

Petelicki, not Petylicki.

Sniper women of extrodynary skill? Interesting.
In the period this document is covering (i assume Polko command) there were many reports of women in the unit, so we can assume for sure that there were women in the unit at that time.
Since the creation of that unit.
No hard feeling, but from what I can remember from the book the Petelicki I can assume that there were no woman in assault teams (but there were no clear statements). Later I will try to find some citations.
The first team was men only for sure ;) There was a woman as units RTO.

There are even pics of female GROM soldiers in Iraq(A. Kwasniewski visit in Iraq). I remember one of MP.et Mod's(Deuterium) talking about GROM female soldier in Iraq. What more, there are pics of female combat team from 1990s as well(training in Poland).

Check page 204. However, I think in interview for Playboy(December 2010?) he stated that he created small female combat team, but unfortunately he showed it to prime minister L. Miller and Miller couldnt keep information about this female unit for himself, so there was no sense to keep this unit. According to Petelicki such unit is sensible only If noone knows about its existence. I don't have this number of Playboy so there will be no citations;-)

Grom was created in early 90s as an elite force, an was like this from the begining - first combat team was very small, the unit grew over time. In the begining it was part of ministry of interior, not the ministry of defense. The main tasks were Counter Terrorism ant Anti Terrorism Operations as well as VIP Protection. As the unit grew (the second - see combat team was created) unit had more combat capbilities. From the begining (mid 90s) unit was using wetern weapons (like MP5 and KAC or Buschmaster M4 clones).
1st Commando Regiment was created by joining "special" companys from the PRL era, for very long unit was well into Land Forces structure using standard gear and had conscripts (well selected but nevertheles). Afther creation of SOCOM unit started to recive some real good weapons like HK416 - earlier standard eqquipment were Beryl or AKM rifles.

Good luck amigo.

PS
What's the correct name of 1 PSK(1 Pułk Specjalny Komandosów), just wondering because you seem to not accept "1 PSK"? Is it 1 PS, 1 psk, 1 ps, 1 ps im. "komandosów"?
Robal2pl

1. There are no police units called "SPAT" ;-) Official name is SPAP.
2. The SOK teams - despite unwise posing with asg repilicas - are not AT/Hostage rescue units. They are just intervention teams, better prepared and armed than "stardard" railway guard. Hostage situation? No. Active shooter/armed robbery on railway area - yes.

Because I don't have any info about G36 in Straż Ochrony Kolei service. Here is a link to the discussion (in Polish) about these pics:

...and weapon can be in hand not in a holster.
That is not the first photo of BOA in ACU. Some says it is because it is similar to plamiak. Other camo used by Polish Police.
Railroad Defence Guard - black suites. Not all of black ones, most of them are Police.

According to their site, they can only use physical strength, batons, gas spring air weapons and handcuffs (if the translation was correct). How does that go together with what we see above? I don't know if any of those sporting SMGs and rifles are actually SOK, but they seem to be armed.
Plus, isn't it exaggerated to have an anti-terrorism squad within your railway protection service?
edit: I guess it's these guys that we see above:

railroad system is still a major means of transporting goods and people in europe, why not have a dedicated protection force instead of localized police force to deal with crisis?

Afaik this special operation squad is located in Warsaw. Poland is quite a big country, how'd they get to the site of a potential attack? I'm sure local police/swat will reach the location much faster. And for Warsaw alone? I've been there in early September. There are three large railway stations and additional local SKM (suburban train) ones. Hardly enough to justify their own anti-terror squad, right?
Just for clarification: I wasn't questioning the existence of the Railway Guard in general, just this special unit.

They are created for taking out groups of railroads thieves wich is big problem in Poland. Probably some of them had guns so they created own group. I think it's better than waiting days for permition to use local SPAP.

No. They can also use firearms including machine weapons. each guardsman is armed with pistol during normal duty.

Why he is useing military unit name in private businnes? Even in book's name GROM is marked. It's not his own circus, he can't make money by well-known name, civilians can't wear uniform parts but ret. general is bitching around with whole unit..

The unit name is JW GROM im. Cichociemnych spadochroniarzy Armii Krajowej or smth like that. Anyway, he used the word GROM because he can, its not a trade mark, same like word Delta in US.

Here’s a snippet out of an interview with Travis Haley. You can find similar problems in virtually every other written and video review on the ACR.
—-
Tyler Long: travis quick question and anyone can answer to if they please, Im taking a poll SCAR L or ACR
Travis Haley: SCAR is far more accurate and reliable. I could certainly do without the reciprocating CH but I can get over that considering I have been very happy with the performance of the SCAR in classes and testing. I have broke every ACR I have ever touched with simple weapons manipulation.
Ed Driver: Travis what broke on the ACR
Travis Haley: short answer: Cant put any pressure on the mag when firing, spring tension issues, true barrel issues, accuracy issues, over insertion of mags, eats Pmags, weird malfunctions, just a lot of no go criteria issues that unfortunately haven’t been fixed yet.
David Alayon: So the Remington “milspec” variant is the same?
Travis Haley: yes that was the MIL variant…
