Korean Internet Users Launch Hacking Attacks on ******.com
Korean Internet users have launched "Hacking of Fury" attacks on a website, ******.com, which is trying to obtain and spread the video of Kim Sun-il’s decapitation. This site posted the unabridged video of Nicholas Berg’s beheading in May. The site enraged Korean Internet users by posting an advertisement looking for video of Kim's decapitation when Kim was kidnapped.
The site is posting a message on its main page that Kim has been decapitated and is asking people to send in videos or photos of Kim’s decapitation if they have them. In regards to this message, Korean Internet users have gone on collective hacking attacks on the website, saying, “We will punish a shameless website that is trying to commercialize the death of a man.”
Korean Internet users have posted ways to hack into ******.com on various Korean websites like DC and are making all-out efforts to bring the website down. An Internet user resentfully suggested, “Let’s hack in to hang a Korean flag on the site... Spreading a video of the beheading is to ridicule the death of Kim Sun-il.” Korean Internet users have voiced concerns that a video of the beheading may be circulated around the world and this would be tantamount to killing Kim twice. Korean Internet users said, “Let’s join hands together to prevent the circulation of the video of Kim Sun-il who was killed undeservedly.”

That site is by far the worst in the bucket, and putting up requests sends it rock bottom. Hope they succeed. :bash:

Reminds me of when some people killed Al-Jazeera's site after their BS reporting of US action in Afghanistan, and posted an American flag with the words "LET FREEDOM RING".

Launching personal attacks on ******.com is taking the law into your own hands : a method of action much like that of the terrorists.(Cyber-Terrorists?) We trace all IPs and will prosecute any attacks to the full extent of the law. ******.com is not encouraging harm to Kim Sun-Il or anyone else... in fact, we are trying to discourage it by showing the reality of how evil these terrorists are. ******.com is merely trying to keep the public up to date and provide the reality of the violence that goes on in the world.

freedom of speech?
Yes true but doesnt it cross a limit when it shows dead people? Its just not what is done these days in a civilised country. I mean, waht gives them the right to do that.
(btw im not startin an argument or nethin just wundering)
Food for thought . Our freedom of speech is sacred no ? Just because you find something offensive doesn't mean it should be banned . **** I find SCAT ( people who cover themselves in **** , eat **** out of other peoples ass and masturbate in **** ) the most offensive thing one could do . Posting it on the internet and making money off of it is even more disturbing because sick mofo's across our nation buy it and get off on it . Pretty nasty huh , I think so . But I'm not about to try to stop these people , I just live and let live . If SCAT is your thing by all means hahahahah knock yourself out - just stay the **** away from me .
As for posting the recent deaths of Johnson , Berg , and the Korean guy we are doing them a service almost . We are showing the world just how sick and brutal terrorists can be and we shouldn’t let them win in any sense. Also it allows people to really observe the video for clues to catch these assholes . They might slip up and reveal something that could lead to the capture of these sick bastards .
So at the very , very least ****** has a point and upholds the freedom of speech and is a place for the morbidly curious and or doctors , police investigators and storage for forensics people . What is the point of having SCAT , *** with animals , transvestites and a whole slew of other sick **** on the internet ? Remove this crap before you remove ****** . Just my 2 cents .

Although I feel for all those families who have seen their loved ones viciously murdered by these extremists, isn't it important to know exactly what we're fighting for?

What are you talking about ? They haven't SEEN the deaths ( most likely ) they just got the confirmation . Do you think any TV station would show the deaths , other than Al-****era ? I don't think any TV station would beacuse of law and common decency . Think a bit , would go on the internet and look for the beheading of your loved one ?

If I decide to go stand on a box and exercise my freedom of speech in a public place… I also am bound by the public’s freedom to reply. If they don’t like what I say… they are free to publicly criticize, heckle, or even shut me up. ****** has to take that risk too. Cyberspace is a public forum and if people decide they don’t like what your “saying” then they will do what they feel is necessary to reply. Korean hackers have a reply for ******… I believe it is “shut up.”
Some of us don’t really feel as apathetic as you do. “Live and let live,” although seems a very sensible and sensitive thing to think… it is invariably naïve and cliché. … my two cents.
People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use.
Soren Kierkegaard (1813 - 1855)
In a free state there should be freedom of speech and thought.
Tiberius (42 BC - 37 AD)
Freedom of speech and freedom of action are meaningless without freedom to think. And there is no freedom of thought without doubt.
Bergen Evans, The Natural History of Nonsense (1946)
I agree that there are plenty of other things that need the response that the Korean Hackers are giving Ogerish... when people have had enough.. it will happen.

Is ****** really "Public" though ? I mean you have to GO to it's website . I've never seen any Public masses web site ( Drudge Report , Fox and the beloved CNN ) offer ads for them so it's relatively a place you have to find or stumble upon , hear through word of mouth or by clicking on some highlighted word in a forum and unexpectedly get screwed into viewing .
As for living and let live being cliché I don't know . It's kind of right behind separation of Church and state .That is if you'r talking about values . I don't want to live in a place where I HAVE to worship , I want freedom of choice and I really don't want people telling me the correct way to live . I don't want to live in a Demolition Man movie where I can get fined for cussing in private if you know what I mean . I went to school in Philadelphia and there are all kinds of freaks . Punk Rockers , Tranes , freaks , Goths , Vampires and the opposite . But I don't have the right to tell them what to wear , what to say and how to live . Some of them are kinda cool in an artistic way . Ever meet some one who really looks like a Vampire 24/7 ? Pretty cool but I don't want to be friends with them .

You have the freedom of speech until it infringes on others rights. For example Defemation. Even the dead have right.
If you can prove in anyway with reason that what they posted on their site is in violation of your guarded rights then they are up **** creek. As just a member of society I doubt you or I can do anything about it though I do believe if Kim's family wanted to persue Orgish like foe I'm sure they could win a suit.

You're all a bunch of un-American liberal-minded socialists if you support an ILLEGAL break-in into a private computer server by some hackers who are trying to deny someone's right to free speech.
The fact is, there is no law which prevents someone from posting pictures/videos on the internet of decapitations.
If you don't like the pictures/videos on sites like ****** and Rotten, here's a crazy idea: DON"T LOOK AT THEM. But you have no right to deny other people from looking at them.
If anything, ****** is actually doing the war against terrorists a favor, by showing people how brutal and evil the terrorists really are. I bet these videos have served to change many people's minds about the war on terror, from "terrorists only want to be left alone, it's all USA's fault" to "OMG! Those terrorists are pure evil and must be stopped".
Besides, DOS attacks are lame and prove that Koreans are just script kiddies, not real hackers. A real hacker would have found a remote exploit to take the site down or deface it by now.

OK ... too much freedom of speech and legal right BS from a bunch of amateurs. I get what 5 jump is saying. My point is... and maybe my paratrooping buddies too.. is that Ogerish may deserve the fury of the Korean Hackers (meager as it turned out) but the hackers although justified.. aren't right either.
If some liberal ****bird decides to run around calling soldiers a bunch of babykillers and spitting on them.... they run the chance of having me do a little percussive dental work on them. Maybe not the legal thing to do.. but justified for sure.
Ogerish is pissing in some Korean hacker's Wheaties... hackers are gonna pick a fight. Consequences come with your actions no matter how justified or right you think they are.
