But once your in the SOF category you say "well we have the RANGERS, we have the NIGHTSTALKERS, we have SPECIAL FORCES, and we have DELTA"

So its "SF". SF can say "yea we're part of SOF which includes rangers/delta/nightstalkers" and rangers/delta/night can all say "yea we're SOF" but cant say theyre "SF".. LOL get it?

Of course they could. Assuming, of course, the recruit in question discharged first from the Army and enlisted in the Navy. Other wise, no. BUD/S is not a school like Ranger School, SERE, or Jump, it is a workup for becoming a SEAL.

It is actually widely accepted that the term Special Forces (Being that it the official unit name of the 'Green Berets") is only reserved for Army SF, while SOF is the general term used to describe our other various Specops capabilitys.
