I haven't used that particular DBT product, but everything else I have used was of very high quality. I think the applications of that are very limited and specialized. If you're going to be kicking down doors every day, it might be useful.

I'd agree on both counts. Ive deployed with some of DBT's stuff, and its very good, but a back panel like that will be a massive waste of money unless your job in life is going to be TST missions nightly. I would think you can accomplish the same effect by putting some of your issued MOLLE gear to good use. We played with mounting some basic stuff on our backs during certain missions, and it honestly wasnt all too usefull.

I would suggest trying the simple solution first before you go to that extreme.

I was thinking it would be good from going from a raid set up to a patrol or vehicle set up with nothing on the back. And not having to take allthose pouches on and off all the time.

If you are the average soldier in a BCT/RCT, my advice would be save your money. we wear too much crap as it is (my typical load this tour was 82 lbs) so dont bother unless you see a real need for it after a few months of operation. I'm sure you can do just as well with some ingenuity and 550.
