In France they’ve perfected the helicopter jail break technique (the preferred mode of escape for all hard cases and career criminals.)
One in particular that would be hard to beat involved the girlfriend of a notorious bank robber, who completed helicopter flying lessons
up to solo standard, then piloted an Alouette 2 into the hover above the roof of la Santé Prison in Paris, enabling her ‘significant other’
to clamber onto the skid for the short transit to a planned landing site. They then made their getaway in the usual fashion.
