A guy offered me a great deal on a collapsible mod stock for my ar-15. Problem is that it doesn't include a buffer, buffer tube, or spring. Are these parts interchangeable with my Stag Arms 6 position collapsible stock so that I can just use the parts that I already have? Or are the parts specific in which case id be better off just buying the complete kit from somewhere else? Thanks guys.

SMGLee just put one on my DPMS lower for me.
He replaced the old stock.
He used the original tube and buffer and spring. The only issue you could have is whether it's milspec or commercial, they aren't interchangeable. Mine was commercial so he had to get the commercial EMOD.

VlTor uses Mil Spec size tubes, so if you have one which I think you do from Stag, then you should be ok, if not then you need to buy a Mil Spec tube !

They have milspec and commercial. Mine's commercial.
On the inside of the flip open battery compartment there are two small circles. If one of them has an "M" on it it's military, if it doesn't it's commercial.

I see......must be on the newer ones, I remember when I bought my first one a few years back I had to call them and order a Mil Spec tube from them and they were the ones that told me that they used mil spec tubes....p-)

I'm certainly not an expert. I only know what SMGLee told me, they sent him the wrong one first and he had to send it back, and what I read in the little 2 page pamphlet that came with it. I need to get my daughter to give me her camera so I can take a pic. I'll even take it in my bathroom. :)

Last Year Vltor start to mold their MOD and eMOD stoc for the commerical buffer tubes due to the high demand of shooters that ran commerical tubes, also at the same time there were few military orders for commerical tube stock due to the HK 416 had commerical tubes from the factory.
The Commerical tube stock are the same price as the mil-spec.
If the stock is interchangeable with STAG, yoiu should have a mil-spec stock.
You can order a stock kit from Bravo Company that will have everything you need to retrfit your Vlto to your AR15.
