Some people don't like the context referenced in captions. Well that just makes it easier for me!
:P
Some people like silent movies too. What do you think about omitting captions?

:lol:My bad I guess I should have waited a few minutes......and yes you do have higher resolution as well as you added some very good pics :D .....yep this is what I get for once trying to encroach on your job here :cantbeli: ;) .......you outshined me on this ;)
Anyways good job (especially better then before ;) )
As for that last pic, do you have a caption for I would like to know what’s being said there, for is there is anything pertaining to that soldier and his camara?
<Rant mode on> Boy I know the U.S. now puts up with it a bit, but I don’t think any soldier of any conflict puts up with the personal media attention as we do  ……………that’s fact………..for it is a fact that out of all the conflicts in the world, even where much more people are constantly being killed, tiny little Israel has the highest number of reporters then anywhere else in the world (or they say perhaps they come in second to Washington DC)
Boy its as if there is no other conflicts or other situations in this world…wait we know there is, but of course when it involves Jews, well the world needs to blow everything out of purporting or soley focus on the “Jewish problem”. <Rant mode off>
Ok sorry for that, just felt the need to get that off my chest ;)

Hehe, I'm actually thinking about giving up with these daily threads. All you have to do is look at the thumbnails in *****...
Nobody is encroaching, It just means you all have figured out all the various sources for these daily images..
'Better than before'? - you mean without captions ?!?!
.. yet you ask for a caption on the last one, hehe.
NABLUS, WEST BANK - JUNE 24: An Israeli soldier takes pictures of local and foreign journalists on June 24, 2004 in the Palestinian city of Nablus, West Bank. A large Israeli force, backed by jeeps and armoured personnel carriers, entered Nablus's Old City and neighbouring Balata refugee camp overnight targeting the Fatah Tanzim terror infrastructure, which the IDF (Israeli Defence Force) says is responsible for 80 percent of the planned terror attacks in the West Bank.
So you think one caption for every 'set' of relative pic's is better? O.K. I'll take that!

LONDON, ENGLAND - JUNE 24: A British Army soldier takes aim at a video screen displaying a battlefield scenerio at Wellington Barracks June 24, 2004 in London. British troops can now be trained in combat techniques using virtual-reality Dismounted Close Combat Trainers (DCCT), allowing them to utilise a variety of infantry weapons using a combination of video and computer generated imagery.

He219,
Thanks for that caption I asked, for I was curious if they said the soldier took a pic or simply he walked out with a camera (one which he might have used for that operation)
As for better then before, no I wasn’t referring to caption’s at all, for in fact I hate them, I find so many inaccuracies, not to mention clear and bias negative wording when it involves us, so no it wasn’t referring to that and indeed you can in general leave them out as far as I am concerned……I was hoping to leave it at that but since you thought something else, I guess I should clear up in that I was referring to how I used to view some of your pics postings a while back ;) ….I am sure you can remember some of our tense “encounters” over some of those article links etc…also while I am at it, well how do you like our SOP's pertaining to finger on trigger (or off it) discipline by most of the IDF pics that you see now (I am sure you remember that exchange started by you a while back as well ;) )
Anyways good job in general and I say keep it up, for despite out past differences, I DO enjoy your daily picture threads!

Just to add and clarify, even though I don’t like captions as I said above, I never complained to He219 (and he can attest to this) that they should be removed so I ask any forum members that wish they were there and are upset they aren’t because some others complained well do NOT direct any ire at me for I had nothing to do with it.

Why bring up the fact that you are child killers? I never mentioned it. I simply noted the fact that you are hypocrits. :cantbeli:  I mentioned that false accusation simply to show how we are not hypocrites as you falsely insinuated before.
because any "crying" as you put it that anyone of us might do is usually ONLY when things like that are thrown at us, which is for the most part NOT true, not when small comments that have nothing to do with actual events, are are made......that is not hypocriscy.
In fact usually when a comment is made on the IDF like what Javehn made on that pali stretcher, we usually either explain why we do such a technique or indeed say its wrong.
I repeat it is not hypocrisy to make a comment that the plai’s didn’t use in training the proper technique to use a stretcher, to then get aghast when we see comments under pics of actual events of us being accused of say killing a child simply because the weapon was pointed in that overall direction.
I see a difference, I guess if you don’t, we will simply have to agree to disagree.
Shalom :D

Geezah,
Yes they have been involved in attacks against us (and right from the start of the intifada) and as such yes we do have to watch our backs, for indeed in the past four years there have been Israeli security personal on joint patrols that have been stabbed and killed by their Pali counterparts (one of the reasons why there areant any more joint patrols) and yes we have also been constantly shot at by them (I personally have experienced that)….so yes we don’t trust them and that is based on our experiences in the past four years with them.
I hope that answers your questions.
P.S. I didn’t forget about the other thread, just when it gets long like that well I sometimes take my time for I do enjoy other threads and I try not to be beholden to just one thread, so expect it in the coming days.
I can just bet that your looking forward to it ;)

Geezah,
Yes they have been involved in attacks against us (and right from the start of the intifada) and as such yes we do have to watch our backs, for indeed in the past four years there have been Israeli security personal on joint patrols that have been stabbed and killed by their Pali counterparts (one of the reasons why there areant any more joint patrols) and yes we have also been constantly shot at by them (I personally have experienced that)….so yes we don’t trust them and that is based on our experiences in the past four years with them.
I hope that answers your questions.
Then how can they be taken as a legitimate Police force if you guys(IDF/Israeli Citizens) have to not only watch out for suicide bombers but also these guys?
P.S. I didn’t forget about the other thread, just when it gets long like that well I sometimes take my time for I do enjoy other threads and I try not to be beholden to just one thread, so expect it in the coming days.
I can just bet that your looking forward to it ;)

For the IDF member and ex members, are the majority of Palestinian Police impartial or do you have to watch your backs around these guys or have the Palestinian Police been involved in attacks against the IDF in the past?
Let's see ...
http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v103/javehn/policeramallah.jpg
This would be yes ...
http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v103/javehn/policerammalah.jpg
And this would be also yes ...
And both pictures from the same place .
This time it was said that every Policeman would have his background check (unlike the last time ) . But ...
The guy falling out of the window is that an IDF member or Palestinian also the two guys in the bottom picture are they IDF? If they are I didn't realize you guys were still using AKs?

Then how can they be taken as a legitimate Police force if you guys(IDF/Israeli Citizens) have to not only watch out for suicide bombers but also these guys? ahh and indeed that is the debate, for indeed I and many others rightly based on their past actions towards us, do NOT consider them a legitimate police force simply based on their past actions and like I said before, after getting some of our security personal stabbed by them on joint patrols or getting constantly shot at by them, well indeed the level of our cooperation and trust to them was reduced significantly (me personally I never had any trust in them but that’s just me ;) ), though I guess others will disagree and think that they are one.
Oh and I guess to add………
The guy falling out of the window is that an IDF member or Palestinian also the two guys in the bottom picture are they IDF? If they are I didn't realize you guys were still using AKs?The first pic is of a IDF reserve soldier that made a wrong turn into Ramallah and was brutally and savagely lynched by a Pali mob of people and primary amongst the Palis who did this were members of the Pali police.
That building that you see the reserve soldier being thrown out of is a Pali police station!!
The second pic is of Pali’s and not Israelis
How'd you guess I was just itching for your reply :P I will agree when they get that long I start to forget what we were even discussing :backhand: hehe  and yes I see you do forget for you go in all sorts of directions that sometimes have nothing to do with the initial subject we were discussing.

In the bottom picture , IDF ? They have ranks written on Arabic . They use AK's . They overall look screams "We are not an IDF" . Who can they be ?
It's Palestinian Police after they decided to shoot some on IDF , in Rammalah .
And the upper one is the linch on IDF reservist soldiers done by Palestinian Police , in Palestinian Police building in Rammalah (after the reservists took a wrong turn) . The act was videotaped "by mistake" , by Italian video crue , and they were threaten to return the tape .

They need to stop calling them insurgents and start calling them terrorists...
Aaaaand they need to stop referring this as a "war" too.
All it is are cowards and bastards killing innocent civilians and taking popshots at US troops.
I think the DoD needs to declare "Operation Iraqi Freedom" done so the media can stop referring to the "ongoing war".
All those years in Belfast were never called a "war". That's just bad people blowing stuff up and killing people for the sake of a cause.
Terrorism. Plain and simple.

yeah just like Pres.Bush declared a end to major combat operations in iraq "Mission Accomplished" :bash:
"major combat operations " seems to be the term everyone wants to nit-pick over.
OIF was a air/sea/land campaign to roll into the country of Iraq and depose the regime of Saddam Hussein.
MAJOR operations like a sustained air campaign, heavy armored maneuver, and large scale movement of troop concentrations constitute all that.
People seem to just love riding Bush on the fact he called the war over in May 2003.
Hell, it was over with the fall of Tikrit on April 14th, 2003.
The OCCUPATION since the real war ended should be called something else (like Operation Iraqi Stability :( ) and that part of this whole undertaking has been botched many times but the end result was and still is:
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED-Saddam Hussein was deposed, his sons were killed (GOOD RIDDANCE) and the soldiers/marines/airmen can be proud of a job well done.
Who will try to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

The BK-5 was an adaptation of a tank gun and was intended primarily for use against Allied heavy bombers. Its magazine held 22 rounds and the gun had a rate of fire of 45 rounds per minute. BK-5 cannon were installed in some Me 410 twin-engine interceptors and another experimentally in the Me 262 fighter known as the „Pulkzerstörer“, a 5cm-Rheinmetall-Mauser Hochgeschwindigkeitsgeschütz MK 214A @ 160 rpm, but the war ended before testing with the latter aircraft could be completed. Only about 300 of the guns were produced and combat usage was limited. Source (http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/arm/arm5.htm)
