Greetings from the Sandbox.
Can anyone with personal knowledge of moving to California with Form 4 weapons (SBR's) provide insight on the following:
Heres the deal:
A military buddy out here is originally from California, but currently stationed in Kansas. Actually he's in Iraq with me now, but when his deployment is over he goes back to Kansas. Anyway, he's interest in obtaining a SBR (AR-15 with a 10 in barrel). He's concerned he wont be able to take it back to California when he moves back there someday. I know CA has many restrictions with regards to military type rifles, looking for how things are in CA with respect to Form 4's or SBR weapons? More specifically, wanting to know if someone can have a Form 4 SBR in Kansas then move to CA with the SBR?
