I bought this PLCE-type webbing from a surplus store, with no information on where it is from. This has turned into some kind of puzzle for me, because I can't even identify the camo pattern for sure and there are absolutely no hints like labels or stamp markings that might point to who used this.

The webbing consists of
1 PLCE-type belt and yoke
2 Double mag pouches that fit 20rd 7.62mm magazines (the G3 mag is mine and did not come with the webbing, so this might be for FN FAL users as well)
2 Double hand grenade pouches
2 GP/canteen pouches (one of which has a snow collar)
1 E-Tool carrier
1 Bayonet frog
2 Small compass (?) pouches

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The camo pattern looks French to me.

Beats me... But if I had to guess: French. Even though I havent seen any frog (no racism) squaddies sportin them. Looks good though, how much did you pay for it? Make sure to post some phot's when assembled!

I knew someone here would recognize it, thank you!

Do you have any further information on it?

I think that its made by "Skalmantas". http://www.skalmantas.lt/lt/product.php?id=2125
In Lithuania's army we used this kind a webing almost for ten years. Now we are equiped with vests. http://www.kam.lt/index.php/lt/171520/

never really liked it, though the new vests could be more comfy as well

New vests really needs some improvment. If you wear it on bodyarmor its ok. But you it only in Afghanistan and on real fire with movement exercises. In regular execises i hate that vest. Its too bulky and you cann't do nothing about that. Besides, the way of ataching pouches aren't the best.

Plus, if you end up in a 360 degree contact with the Taliban, you want to 'On your belt buckle !' A vest doesn't work. It's better if you're in a vehicle but not for foot patrols.
