EX Stalwart Guardian

From 21-29 August, 2004, troops from 31, 32, and 33 CBG will converge at CFB Petawawa for multiple and synchronized sub-sub-unit, live and dry firing exercises within a light brigade group context. Stalwart Guardian 04 is the second exercise in a three exercise series that brings together all of the Land Force Central Area's Reserve forces.
This summer's exercise will be the key training opportunity for Central Area reservists this year.

Is this truck made by IVECO?
If so the Canadian armed forces also use it if my sources are correct.

Heh... some nice footage of the Ex last year (I was on it)... I guess it will be better this year having all 7 days 'tactical.'

Hopefully we're getting some more realistic training... instead of having to strip our tracers out of the 8 boxes of C6 ammo so the precious Petawawa grass doesn't catch fire...

Those fires can get out of hand though, in Meaford I was on the Cambrai range and they were firing the old FN's, 50's and LAV III Chain guns, the whole field was on fire and spreading too fast that they needed to call the firefighters

Yeah, we lit the Caen range on fire during machine gun live fire in Meaford back in 02... my section had to go down there after to put it out :P
