Sure it does. Happened with me. Not only that, but every time I see her, I am a) with my current girlfriend who the ex hates, and b)we are usually coming from or going to somewhere where we dress nice so we are looking good.

Two years ago when I broke up with my x I was very skinny and socially a mess (I gave up friends and hanging out!). But I decided to start working out and ended up sleeping with her ex college romate (she was a big whore) who she hated and I ended up having a better body, social life and better job. Now I finally ran into her about 6 months ago looking better and with my Asian girlfriend, she looked like hell and last I heard she was using heavy drugs. I don't talk to her much but she has a habbit of leaving little snipits of her life on her away messege on her AIM, so every once in a wile I read it and it's never ever filled with anything possitive. I always told her life would be hell after me, and I was so right!
So the moral of this story is if you were dumpt then righteous you will be if you cheated or dumpt her for wrong reason then good for you.
I suggest you get into or further your hobbies, stay single for a bit (just whore around) sit down and think about what you want in a relationship and no matter if it takes a wile just please for the sake of your own heart be picky and choose a girl who is just plain and simple and has a heart of gold! Oh yeah and a cutie also!
