In an excercise, the Indian Air Force beats the US Air Force.

Logical conclusion:
Indian Air Force is better than US Air Force - right?

Too many. Let's cut to the chase: In each excercise, the Indians outnumbered the Americans by a ration of 3 or 4 to 1.
wrong, logical conclusion, you didn't read it right.

'Cause you did.
Maybe the US should consider taking a page from its high tech industry and outsource its air force. :D

It's easy to blame the Jets and not the pilots.

Wow lets blow this article out of proportion. Airframes from the 1970's lost in a mock dogfight. And the Air Force uses this as a reason to push their new projects IE: Raptor. What a shocker??

I tend to believe we were supposed to lose this one. THey had as many as 8 Su-30's going up against a single F-15C...
And airplane vs. Airplane is no way to judge how good an airforce will perform in combat.
Had the F-15C's had AWACS and EW support they would really have in real combat, the outcome would have been far different.
Not to mention US strategy is to crater all the runways and destroy planes before they can even get off the ground, so the chancing of an air to air engagement in the first place are almost non existant since the B-2 and JDAM became commonplace.
