I was at the Tiger Valley 3 Gun Match last weekend and saw this beautiful thing, this was part of Stage 1. It was the first time I saw one of these things in person, it was quite impressive.

Might come in handy when we finally leave those other 49 states on their own...

So shooters actually get to wind that thing up as part of the stage? Who pays for the ammo?

When the zombie apocalypse occurs, Texas will be well protected.

The entry fee for the match was like $250 and there were atleast 75 shooters out there, including the US Army's team. The range paid for the ammo and had loads of it, as the military and local law enforcement train out there quite a bit, as I was told by the guy operating this stage.

This stage consisted of hitting three steel targets at 25 yards with the minigun, followed by hitting 5 steel targets at 10 yards with your pistol, followed by using a range supplied Bushmaster AR-15 to make a 400 yard shot, followed by a 200 yard shot off a 45 degree roof set on the ground with your own rifle. Needless to say it was quite impressive to see.

at the current ammo price, 250.00 entry fee equals to like 2x 1sec burst...:)

Redriver... that is just awesome...

Just wondering did anyone manage to miss with the minigun? rofl

I suppose there's always the chance of a Blind guy missing, it sure doesnt require Alvin York like skills

Hahaha! I hear stuff like that everyday since the roommates are from there, and they've put a framed map of the republic of Tejas in the living room.
