Hi all,

I hope some guys with military experince can help me. My knowledge with the military enviroment is very little, so hope you guys will take it easy on me.

I've been searching the use of PCUs on google and on here, I know the use of it and the different layers, but I just wanted to know if PCUs are still in use or which missions it was last used.

I've read that Natick and other companies have developed PCU which SEALS and Rangers have used it, but I want to know which deployment or missions it have been used. Were they ever used in Afghan?

Any info or pictures would be great, no airsoft pics though.

I think the PCU by ORC industries no longer is NSN issue, I think Patagonia makes the new system now or that have been awarded the contract.

I think they used it on any mission at any time they liked using it. Stan included

Thanks for the reply man. Yes I saw this picture though for some reason thought it was airsoft.

Any more pictures or reference would be great. I'm surprised I cannot find many reference pictures of forces wearing the PCU in action.

Thanks! I thought is was rather pointless since the Hajis know who lives there anyway. I dont know if they still have the giant sign out front with the crest and camp name on it, but they used to.

The PX is not the new boathouse, but it is very convenient to get there when you feel the need to get harrassed by some Ahole CSM with too much time on his hands. I understand now that the majority of the base is a salute zone. It has gone down hill since I was there in 03. I can understand why they hate being there now.

Back on subject, they love the new gear and find it very functional. It has also been holding up pretty well.
