the tags gone, and i think its an 80's issue. any you have an idea? its thick, heavy. seems cotton.

yea...its a brit DPM jacket...late 80's early 90's i had one issued.

1985 pattern.
I had one as a sproggy air cadet who had to supply his own cammies.
Bad kit, ripstop 1995 one much better IMO.

On a slightly related note. Does anyone remember the fire at Donnington which allegedly destroyed the MOD's entire supply of '85 pattern combats? Maybe it was started deliberately :-)

After my time but I did hear about the new acronyn for lack of certain items in the QM's stores - FOFAD - F**ck off, fire at Donnington.

Jesus, why not just ball it up and take a picture? a Coat Hanger would have let posters see the details
