Take it from a guy who used to own an '86 IROC (stop laughing, I was 16, and thought that I was the shizznit)...they suck...big time. And this guy is bragging that he got his car up to 90 mph? I got up to 120 once...before common sense set in, and the pedal wasn't even close to the floor. And the comment about the stealth bomber...holy crap...I can't believe people like this are allowed to live.
"Have you ever been in prison?"
"I dont necessarily want to answer that."
"So you're pretending to have been in prison." rofl
"All my tats are temporary."
Yeah...I got a ticket in my IROC...52 in a 40, so the cop said. I'm not sure that I believed that at the time (my gauge said 45)...I should have taken this guy's advice and tried to outrun him.

Man euros have no real concept of what a "redneck" is. The guy is just trying desperately to hang on to his "80's youth". I have seen this so many times and it's sad. Pull up to work in your Iroc or Firebird, with your sleeveless W.A.S.P tee-shirt, with RATS "lay it down" blaring out of the speakers.
Actually its not sad..... It's pretty funny.

With the latest M3 beema you should be able to do sth. like 180mph (290kph, maybe even 300). Even my stone-old bike could nearly do 180mph.

The new BMWs are governed at something like 156 MPH or so. The German automakers are trying to get speeds down on the autobahns. But if you can get around it I have no doubt they can kick the piss out of their current governed limits.

It ain't got anything to do with our government. German car-builders put a self-control speed-limit of 156mph in every car. But if the customers wants (and believe me, most of the customers want), the car-builders take the limit off.

NOT GOVERNMENT. Governors. Part of the computer system of the car, cuts power at a given speed. BMW's are set at around 156 MPH. And the dealer doesn't take the governor off, that is an aftermarket modification.

Hehe, funny me, eh? Sorry, I totally misunderstood you. But here in Germany, the dealer would take the governor off if the customer wants.
