Even against personnel, indeed. Not only there's this (however, still "unconfirmed") kill against a Taliban soldier by Canadian snipers in Afghanistan, but a Weapons Report by the US Army also showed one occasion where an US sniper team (forgot whether it was Army or Marines) shot one round onto an Iraqi soldier on a water tower, and then only the part below his torso stayed :|

and finding a gun club is expensive and again the license :S

yea but then again, british police officers don't even carry guns if i'm informed correctly, i had a english roomate from just outside liverpool.

that video was incredible, after boot camp, i should be attending scout sniper training, so that one hit home for me, very very cool. the 'slap' round seemed particularly fun.

British patrol officers don't...but I think they have heavily armed tactical teams that are on each shift. If a situation requires a possible armed response, these teams are dispatched to the scene.

Course...I live in LA and everyone has a gun. (legal or not) ;)

Getting a section 1 fire arms certificate isnt that difficult in the UK. But we are limited to single action only(semi's are allowed in .22) and there are restrictions on barrel length, etc.

I just want to triger a real gun....BIN!!BIN!!BIN!!!Join some shooting club. Definitely there something like that in your neighbourhood. There is always sport shooting range or something similar.
