Considering the beheading of Johnson and recent murders of U.S. citizens, should the Saudi Government allow American expats to carry their own self defense weapons?

I believe so since Americans will most likely continue to be targeted over there. I am not too suring if carring a self defense weapon would help much, but at least it is a more powerful means to fight back than with a bare hands.

i am guessing that arms are present in sadiua arabia like they were and and still are in iraq , what is the problem if just another resident carries an AK in the backseat or into their local walmart?

American and other compounds that house people that are from out of the country have there own armed guards and security systems / measures in place.
