Q: about HK scope mount

OK, I'm a big fan of ORSM.net, but my question is, has he done something wrong or do my HK knowlage fails me?

Wrong position, way too forward and obviously an obstacle for the folding ****'s special tube.

That's the correct position for a claw-type detachable mount.

It's an MSG90 in the picture though so forget about clawmounts, it's got built in mounting positions on the reciever for the HK supplied scope.

What he's done though is mount it to far forwards, clipping on the rear mount on the scope to the front mounting block and left the front mount hang up in the air. Suspect he'd have a hell of a time with eyerelif and how that thing holds a zero.
