Please look at the below photo.
Do you know what that thing in the read area is?
Also, which brand and model is that black radio harness?
Many thanks for your help.

1: I don't know.
2: Perhaps an older Eagle model radio holster? Here's the current design.

It's a pouch that probably holds smaller lil' pouches inside of it.

It's close but not it. There seem to be plenty of such harnesses and they all look so similiar.
I have the one from Blackhawk, but it's also not it. Thanks for your help.

Yes it's about Katrina I guess and thanks for the hint. I googled for LPUs and it does look indeed like one. Just ain't sure which version. Funny is it looks like the Vietnam era LPU-2/P. Would they use such old equipment?

If I had to take a guess, it would be this. Normally, if what this dude is wearing, they would be worn right beneath the armpits. But when worn correctly they are not very comfortable and makes the use of the arms difficult.

Yes, that pic is from a flooded area so a Life preserver unit like this makes sense. If someone knows the exact model as in my pic that'd be great, but you been a great help already, thanks.
